python-pocket-lint software package provides composite linter and style checker, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pocket-lint
python-pocket-lint is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pocket-lint package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pocket-lint *
You will get with python-pocket-lint package name, version, architecture and description in a table
